Rare now days, commercial quality aluminium catamaran designed to handle sloppy seas with safety, still with commercial operations certificate though only used privately. The vessel was a dive boat for many years, 3 years ago the vessel was retired and has been a reliable pleasure craft since. With the refit 2.5 years ago, everything was replaced, repaired and rejuvinated. The outboards were serviced and a fuel pump ($700) replaced.
The mercury outboards are 2005 models with 700 hours. They have new stainless props that are mint condition. The boat cruises comfortably at 24knots with a top speed of 36knots. The motors are quiet and economic.
This is an early vessel, somewhere between 1980 and 1984 from my research and was used commercially so its not perfect, please don't expect a show pony. The price reflects the age and condition etc.
Theres a suite of electronics etc. fusion stereo, lowrance hdi, gme600 all new. If you're after a vessel that is good on fuel, quick, can carry 1 tonne and will allow you to access anywhere safely then please have a look. Cats are stable at rest, you can sip coffee at 24knots in 20knots of windy chop... Twin outboards are great for safety and slow speed docking into the tightest of spots is a breeze.
We are 40 minutes north of Newcastle, we are selling because we're about to do house renovations and our next boat (after the rennos) will be a larger moored cat now that we are in love with multi hulled boats. One image shows the trailer without a tyre, this is removed for security reasons. There is no rego on the trailer as we live close to the ramp, I have the last rego papers if you wanted to register, would need some work on the brakes etc. comes with free spider webs!
